Looking at Google, the condos are an arrowhead shaped building pointing toward the beach,while the hotel is perpendicular to the beach. But it appears someone would have to look at an angle out of their condo window to see someone in a hotel room - it isn’t a matter of looking straight across the parking lot and over the roof of the low rise portion of the hotel. The article says 170 feet, which would appear to be about to the beachfront point of the condo, which goes closer to the ocean than the hotel tower.
Hope the old ladies didn’t injure their necks twisting around to see the show.
