I keep getting these extremely liberal petitions from change.org and they are finally getting to me. So, I decided to use the left's weapons against themselves and started my own petition called "Gut the EPA" directed at Mssrs Trump and Pruitt.
It turns out that to make the petition visible, I need 5 more signatories. I have no idea how to do that, so I thought I could get some help here. The text of the petition is below (it's a slow day on the homefront):
The Environmental Protection Agency started out as a reasonable response to serious pollution issues in the 1960's. However, it has morphed into a bullying, power mad monster that has long since lost any semblance of a rational governmental agency. When a farmer can't fill in a mud puddle in his own yard, entire industries are simply regulated out of existence, and pseudo-scientific socialist fantasy direct these laws, then a change is required.
Every single state already has their own state version of an EPA. The federal leviathan is not only not necessary, it is not one of the federal enumerated powers. They should stick to scientific research and periodically issue best practices guidance to the states, but they need to be stripped of all power to regulate, enforce, fine, dictate or threaten either the states or the citizenry.
Further, they should be disarmed. They have no business stockpiling weapons, training SWAT teams or threatening deadly force. In the rare case where deadly force may actually be called for, the state environmental authorities can enlist the help of that state's law enforcement to respond to the threat.
Finally, they need to be de-politicized. Nobody gives a damn about the political beliefs of their employees. If those employees want to affect the political culture, they can run for office (and win. Winning counts).
Therefore, we the undersigned petition the federal government to drastically reduce the scope, power and budget of the EPA. Besides, we need to reduce federal expenditures in general, and few things cry out for a return to sanity more than the EPA. This petition will be delivered to:

Maybe you should put up a petition against Change.org petitions.
I fully expect to get banned PDQ, but what the hey. At least they’ll stop sending me those stupid petitions.
I got tired of their email spam.
I’m tired of half the crap that gets posted here but whaddya gonna do? It’s a free country and we each have a Delete key. Or fingers to turn the knob or change the channel, etc.
Be asssured these petitions have no impact anyway or Rush would have been off the air 15 years ago.
