I must admit I blew $10 and a couple of hours of my time seeing "Golden Compass" at the theater.

Somehow I ended up seeing The Golden Compass for free at the theater.
Twenty minutes later I walked out and told the manager he should refund everyone's money on principles.

The only book I ever threw away was his "Golden Compass" so no other person would be exposed to the pure satanic teachings....especially children.
Thank God I pre-read it before letting my children get their hands on it.

I read Golden Compass a long time back. I found it the most profane thing I ever read, and I have been around. I never forbade my children (mow grown) from reading anything, but I told them I would prefer they would not. Glad that for once they listened to their old man
