You'd think, in cases like this, that people would be able to harvest some of this meat or whatever else might be useful from these whales.

What's most unnerving about the whole situation is that no one has been
able to explain it, and it's not just happening in New Zealand - hundreds of
whales have been running themselves aground all over the globe for years.
Society is too weak to exploit the anomaly ultimately making waste of these creatures.
