$1.25 million isnt all that much. Gone in a flash if theres no discipline.
Not many people could live on that over any length of time.
People with a little discipline could live well on that amount indefinitely.
Having the money means you could chose to live where the living is cheap, because you do not need a job.
But few have even a little discipline when it comes to money.

She's 17 yrs old.....$1.25 million was the gross. I'd gather the net was much smaller.
If she lives another 50 years...and let's say the net was $1 million...
That's nothing much to "live" on....per year.
