Maybe a bit shell shocked shocked is not it. But there was something different about him today. It could be he is really really angry. I do believe he is surprised at the treachery of this court. He knows the law supports him 100% yet they ignored it. I suspect he realizes the courts are a clear and present danger and it must be confronted as sure as ISIS.
I am sure he is angry but he knows how to vent and control anger.
Perhaps he is so committed to protecting people and saving lives, and he’s been briefed about who is trying to get what into the country, that he cannot see a way of meeting the court challenge without someone, somewhere, dying in the meantime.
So you have a point.
As I know him from so much research, I know that when people say he has a huge heart, it is true, and he knows there will be deaths while he and the courts continue to battle. Regardless of the blame going to these treacherous judges, the President does not care about blame, he cares about saving lives.
