I admit I have the odd ESPN podcast on my phone but when I listen I hear one non-story after another about Player X saying something snarky about Player Y. Apparently, ESPN think it stimulates interest in the game to promote these handbags-at-ten-paces disputes.

What I find most hilarious is that most NBA players’ openly-stated objective is to spend as little time as possible in a classroom or on a college campus ie they are actively pursuing ignorance. Nevertheless, ESPN treats their every monosyllabic utterance as Shakespeare.
