Let me tell you, in NYC, EVERYONE loves the Oak Man. He had every teammates back and kept all cheap shots out of the picture protecting Patrick Ewing.

To say he’s beloved in New York doesn’t quite do it justice.
To say Dolan is considered a fat cat living off the billions in cable contracts while leading the Knicks to a disaster doesn’t quite suffice either.

Met Oakley at a charity event couple of years ago. He was cool and a nice guy.
I don’t think I’ve told a man that I loved him. For the Oak Man, it just came out like butter.

He shouldn’t be thrown out because he made some anti-owner remark aloud.
That’s just nonsense.

Why not?

Haven’t recent incidents at colleges in the last couple of months taught you that free speech is dead.

He “triggered” the reaction because of what he said.

What a world——(sigh).

I agree with that statement. But when your remarks escalate to the arrival of security then you should keep your mouth shut.

Since that wasn't the case and he escalated the incident into shoving security personnel multiple times, then YEA, you deserve to have your smart ass hauled out by any means necessary.......

I agree with a previous poster, he should have had his butt tazed then dragged out of the arena by his feet...........
