Big whoop - they did what they needed to create a theatrical effect w/o getting stupid dangerous.

I decided to do a crossword puzzle during halftime and was listening w/o watching. Took a couple glances and decided I could do w/o the "makeup" and never really gave it a thought.

I was a bit surprised that she didn't do any overt political crap - the NFL probably decided it would be the last nail in its coffin.

The only time I ever decided she might not be so bad was during the Christmas commercials with Tony Bennett - she actually looked wholesome in them.
