I heard it was recorded earlier due to gas restrictions during the game
What I want to know is the plan if the weather turned out to be significantly different... if any...
Give her props for dangling high above stage on cables. Few would want to try that.
I didn’t see it, but from what I’ve heard I’m duly impressed that she just put on a show without a bunch of political or shock value BS. Hopefully she gets some positive commentary for that.
That is a pretty Space 1999 getup there, LOL...
I read for the Super bowl thing they had backup drones that were available within two seconds if a drone lost it or lost the lighting, etc. That to me would mean that they had numerous dark drones up there in among the lit ones. Pretty amazing.
I’ve read elsewhere where they are working on having one drone be the “leader” and the other drones will fly in a pattern following the leader. They are studying flocks of birds as an example.
Yes, that was so sad ... but set the tone vs any future risky activity for the halftime shows.
The Shooting Star drones are basic. During the show the drones can fly within 1.5 meters of each other at a speed of 3 meters per second in winds up to 8 meters per second. They have a range of about 1.5 kilometers and a flight time of 20-22 minutes. They’re all controlled from a single radio antenna located next to the pilot. ...The Shooting Star drone has a bright LED installed under the main housing. Encased in a plastic dome about the size of baseball, this LED is what allows the drones to put on a show.
Sadly I cannot show the most impressive part of the whole operation: 600 drones sitting in waiting on their launchpads. Intel didn’t want to talk about these pads so I know little outside of what I saw and I saw very little.
Several drones sit an inch apart on each launchpad. The pads appear to be multi-use, but at least one function is to charge the drones. The Shooting Star drones rest in divots designed to cup the round LED housing, which also features the charging contacts for the drones. Sit the drones in these little holes and they’re charging until they’re directed to take off.
The drones weigh about 10 ounces. Fact sheet.
Flight time of 20 minutes??? Wow. I’m guessing they are a tad more expensive than the one I bought my son last year for Christmas - flight time of 6 minutes I think!
“thunder thighs Beyoncé”
OH I dunno.
For several thousand milliseconds I was mezmerized by the waves undulating in Gaga’s thighs while she was prancing around in that silvery harness suit.
What was saying is that in this game, the cameras showed and Joe Buck highlighted the closing of the roof after halftime. Just before the second half began.
My question was why did they open it and close it if she didn’t actually appear on the roof and jump down in real time? Or was that pre-filmed, too?
A friend today mentioned that maybe it was opened because of the fireworks. I’ll have to watch it again.
It's getting to the point where everything is faked these days...

Here is a question and answer interview before the half-time show. She evades a lot of questions about what the show will be like, but she is humble and polite and sincere.
When asked about if she is nervous about doing the show she doesn’t say, but she talks about all the work her team put into the show - months of rehearsals, etc. And she ends that part with something like “So kids - it might look easy up there, but it takes a lot of work. But you CAN achieve your dreams if you wake up early, work hard and keep striving, and get up early the NEXT day, and work hard....”
After copying Madonna she’s now copying David Bowie.
-—I feel stupid now.-—
You shouldn’t...
It was a great show. She did a great job...
I was pretty sure that was not live when started the show...
Way too many safety issues, technical issues jumping from the roof live...
Of course she faked it.
Everything about her is fake.
So the eff what.
Gaga kept the politics out of the show. And she did a good show. So... who cares if she faked an absolutely impossible jump?
