This clearly was moral equivalence between a largely good USA and a mostly bad Russia.
I don't mind when the liberals conflate unrelated issues and are dead-wrong, but I do mind when our side does it.

From a transcript of the Rush Limbaugh show in which Rush notes that he can totally understand alarm bells going off because it seemed as if Trump was attacking American exceptionalism. We’ve had eight years of former president Obama running down the USA as being equivalent to totalitarian dictatorships worldwide, and it’s pretty irritating to hear something from President Trump that sounds pretty close.
