Sounds like the men at the decadent French court of Versailles would feel right at home in the West. I can't believe I am seeing this.

I can’t believe how a fraction of a percent of the population, the T in LGBT, is driving all of this.

It's nothing new. The makeup industry has been trying to push their products on the other 50% of the population for years now.

Plenty of guys wearing eyeliner back in the 80s.

Sadly, what has been seen cannot be in-seen. That’s revolting!

Of all the subjects I have taught in my decades in the classroom and online, I never taught cosmetology, because I don’t believe in make-up exams.

“Men” who make themselves look like this are sissies. At least that’s what they used to be called.

As Bill the Cat would say ... “Ack! Barf!” I used to use Maybelline all the time. But, no more.

That reminds me of someone from Gerry Anderson’s puppet shows.

Sick. Any son of mine acting this way would be examined for mental illness, and if they weren’t so afflicted, would be disowned. No one should approve of this behavior.

Back when I was in my mid-20s, I was told the next "Big Thing" was going to be selling vanity products to aging Baby Boomers. And maybe for a time it was, but not through that company. But that was nothing like this.

Are the lives of hipsters and millennials that empty and lacking that they need this?

Me too! Ads like this make me stop buying the product. That said the makeup industry has been hard left for awhile. They know their customers too. Around here made up men work cosmetics counters and women still buy.

A few years ago, I as asked to do a segment for a DIY Network TV show. It was an impromptu product demonstration at a large trade show.

Next thing I know, I’m getting makeup applied. As a guy, that was a first and hopefully only experience.

Ick

But theatrical makeup is far different than if I wanted to look pretty for the boys

I often wonder how the men of the past could be convinced to wear ridiculous powdered wigs and ruffled poofy clothes, not to mention shaving their legs so they could wear hose. I mean I know it was just the fashion of the time I guess but holy cow it still seems objectively fruity to me.

>>It's nothing new<<

Yes, yes it is. The homosexual lobby fought hard for years to have gay marriage normalized...as soon as the SCOTUS made their decision legalizing gay marriage across the land, the transgendered movement hit full steam ahead.

Transgenderism is all over the news, woven into television programming, Internet...you name it. I've personally seen how transgenderism has been normalized in eateries, stores. Men who worked at these establishments came to work one day dressed as a female....and there is absolutely nothing the owners of the businesses can do about it.

Yes, yes it is.

There's nothing new about the makeup industry trying to sell makeup to men. They've been doing it for years. I don't know how old you are but at 48, I know that this has been going on for a long time. There's just been little success. So every now and again, the industry will think this is the time for yet another push.

That's what's happening now. This isn't about transgenderism. The trannies are already buying makeup. This is about making it mainstream enough that Joe Lunchbox is applying eyeliner before he goes to work (and men are spending billions on makeup products).

Another push. Another fail. In a few years, they'll try it again. They've been trying to sell purses to men for ages with the same lackluster results and if they could figure out a way to sell us tampons, they'd be doing that as well.
