Indeed they were. I saw them for the first time in the late 70's in Houston and the last time in 1998. They played an outdoor amphitheatre in west Austin. In August. It was 105 degrees when they started playing. The show was one for the ages, and they performed before a crowd of less than 2000 (about the capacity of the venue). Alan Parsons opened for them.
How’s this for a tour? I saw Yes open for Black Sabbath. We were dumbfounded by how good Yes was (Howe and orig drummer) and walked out of Black Sabbath after about e songs they were so mediocre.
