Supposed you’re stopped
In Virginia and you’re in
the process of moving
there from New Mexico
where it’s legal to carry
a loaded/concealed
handgun in your vehicle
without a permit? You can
also carry concealed in NM
without a permit, if your
weapon is unloaded with the
ammo/clip in your other pocket.
I am a very firm believer in
Constitutional carry. There
are way to many different
rules concerning right to
carry between different states.
Also, a vehicle is considered
as an extension of your home.
I called in a stolen property
report and while waiting at
the neighbors house, the cops
pulled up in front of mine.
I entered my home to find the
cops in my bedroom. all of my
weapons were on my bed with the
cops writing down the serial
numbers. I kindly, but firmly
asked for the piece of paper
they had written the numbers on.
They asked if my weapons were
registered. I gave them the
stolen property report on my
front patio after I asked them
to leave my home. They were
very adamant about the serial
numbers and registrations of
which they didn’t receive.
