Nothing beats a good old honey wagon story with a happy ending.

When I first went to Japan in 1957 we were told to not eat the vegetables because they used human fertilizer.

Wasn’t much into vegetables anyway but naturally had to try them.

Found out that enough Asahi and/or Tory, Suntory was the great equalizer.

Another great remembrance was eating something on a stick from carts on the streets - all over SE Asia... so when it comes to what one may or may not have eaten, I have to ‘excuse myself’ from the conversation as I had/have absolutely no clue what was grilled and put on a stick.

LOL speaking of Orange county at the sewage treatment plant in Montgomery, along the banks of the discharge stream that flows into the Wallkill Riv are some of the reddest tastiest looking tomatoes anywhere. As far as anyone know nobody dared to try them yet.
