I have had face to face discussions about Islam with Muslims who will practice Taquiya, which is decieving non-Muslims to spread Islam.
If you mention Jihad by the sword they will claim , yes it happened, but it was DEFENSIVE.
I hit back that since as you noted, the Muslims were in downtown Europe not that long after Muhammed died in 632, and that the Crusades didn't start till 1095 how is it defensive.
They don't like to be challenged like that. -Tom
