I was trying to figure that out, too. Russia has Christmas later than the West, so I’m wondering if their “Boxing Day” is different, too. Anyone know?

Not Boxing Day.

Think about the 12 Days of Christmas.

In Greek and Eastern Orthodox that would be January 6th.

There is no ‘boxing day’ in Russia.

The article is by a British newspaper & author, and Boxing Day is a holiday in Britain and some Commonwealth countries, so he wrote Boxing Day instead of Dec 26.
