The treatment and death of the young boy was certainly a tragedy. The people that did this to him were pure evil. However, there are thousands of white victims of black violence and no one ever hears about it.
"Yes, there was real, legal racism in this country sixty years ago.
Hard working black people couldn't vote, had to ride in the back of buses and trains, couldn't eat at restaurants, and their schools were underfunded compared to white schools.
That was due to government mandated segregation, which does not exist any more.
