The last thing the United States needs right now is another celebrity personality sticking a nose into politics, another person who has never lived the struggles of average Americans developing the policies to fix average lives.
So of course right now is when Peyton Manning surfaces on the political scene, set to flank President Donald Trump at a Senate-House GOP retreat in Philadelphia that began Wednesday. Manning will reportedly speak at the event, part of a lineup that includes Trump and Vice President Mike Pence.

LOL
I know who you’re rooting for next week.
As you probably figured out, I meant "Bradly Manning."
:)
Dumb statement on my part.
Dumb statement on my part. I did of course mean "Bradley Manning."
I saw the headline and got the two confused.
another person who has never lived the struggles of average Americans developing the policies to fix average lives.
really? the Constitution says nothing about how citizens need to have struggled in order to develop policy... in order to partake in American politics... in order to voice a perspective...
Don’t you think that is extreme, even for a Colts fan?
I get it, that Peyton was a football legend, but I think much less of him ever since that “Rob Lowe Roast” in August of 2016. Peyton and many others directed their attention to Ann Coulter. Ann was slammed and ridiculed mostly for being an open supporter of Donald Trump. They sort of piled up and dumped on her. Lots of crude insults. Peyton joined right in with them like a good robot is supposed to, saying Ann looked like something out of the Kentucky Derby.
You will not live this down on this thread, so anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of public opinion.
All in good fun though, I doubt there is a person he who has not misspoken on one occasion or another.
I put my foot in my mouth on that one. :)
It's all right. I deserve it. I should have paid better attention to what I was replying to.
All in good fun though, I doubt there is a person he who has not misspoken on one occasion or another.
No doubt.
Peyton Manning chopped off his pEn1$. Do you know how painful that is? He got a presidential pardon for his treason because of all the pain he had to endure. Playing quarterback was nothing. Try chopping your Weiner off. ;)
Yeah, I got the two of them confused. :)
Peyton Manning needs to do whatever the hell he wants to do and with whoever the hell he wants to do it with.
I thought you were joking because of that hoax guy on Carlson last week! So I added to it!! I thought you made a funny!! And it was funny.
Why? The only one he has to fear IS THE F***ING MEDIA!!!
Wow, rather Libertarian coming from a Democrat. Who are you, presuming to tell Peyton Manning anything, one way or the other?
.
Posting without sleep again?
.
There are still people in Baltimore angry that they moved to Indianapolis in the 1980s.
Inadvertently funny. Yeah, I can see how people might think it is funny if they thought I was a fan of one of his opposing sports teams. No, I just keep up with news on one "Manning", and I wrongfully assumed the article was about the "Manning" of which I am familiar.
And Yeah, my comment is funny if you look at it as a sports fan. :)
Some of that, but mostly dealing with too many things coming at me at the same time. There is too much stuff demanding my attention right now, both in the news and in my private life.
Not a bad thing, I'm just pretty busy lately.
:)
