Im so happy about this election I am going to travel to DC this summer and do the tourist thing.
Something I had been wanting to do for years but couldnt with bring myself to do with Obama in residence. I'm confused.
How can you be an old Virginian and never done the touristy DC thing?

Ive been flying a pirate flag for years. I've occasionally alternated Old Glory with other flags, though she's been flying pretty steadily over the last twenty some-odd years since I've owned a residence.
Mommy got me a Betsy Ross flag for Christmas, but it hasn't seen a flagpole yet. I wanted my dad to give his Betsy Ross flag back, seeing as he voted for the Hag, but at 84, he's a hardass.
I swear, I can't figure that man out.

"Whatever are you implying, FRiend?"
Salutations, titles and honorifics are distinct from prefixes.
If you say so. Flow with it, friend. Go with the flow of the thread...

May better days lie ahead for you and your family. We're good, though it has taken an unbelievable amount of effort on my family's part to be where we are today.
No thanks to Obama, who allowed the invaders to rip the very food off our table for the last eight years - AND George Bush, for eight years before that!

I was referring to your weird cognitive dissonance dont think the words President Obama together thing, not any difficult times you may have had as a result of the same recession all the rest of us have also been through. Reading through the above, it's pretty obvious that you're now posting while impaired. I won't hold that against you.
Perhaps tomorrow, you can make some sense of what you're trying to get across, but for tonight, I think it's a wash.

Funny though. On Rightnation, they called him “Buttcrack’ (the idiot’s first name) which went on for 8 years too LOL

The Insect I was thinking of Obama the other day, and that very phrase came to me. It occurred to me, that I've never thought of any other U.S. president in that way.
He deserved it.

Our nation elected a turd as president in 2008. Insanity was doing it again in 2012, after numerous failures to accomplish anything other than destroying the well-being of our nation. And the Democrats wonder why we elected Trump over Hillary.
The answer is painfully obvious.

Mostly I hate cities.
When the kids were young they had no interest in anything other than beaches and mountains.
The wife and I were planning on going to DC once they were grown, but sadly her health didn’t allow us to travel at all.
I’m alone now so I’m going to do the bucket list thing while I can.

I’ve spent eight years praying that we would survive and recover. We survived. Friday’s Inauguration was the start of the recovery. I love it when prayers are answered.
