Exactly. If wind and solar could benefit the country, they would be in the forefront. If anyone could invent a solar cell that was more efficient, they would be powering everything.

BINGO...”uncertainty” = shutting off the government subsidy pipeline. It’s WAY past due to have these things sink or swim on their own economic merits. Plus end all the ways the government has turned a blind eye to the wildlife destruction by windmills, the destruction of our nation’s once-beautiful vistas, and the consumption of rare earth metals mined in China where there are no environmental protections. Those monstrosities should be made to bear all their “externality” costs.
