The guys are basically afraid of angering their wives. I get the sense the wives are pissed that their husbands are such wimps.
I only know of one who finally divorced his hag of a wife. It cost him a fortune, had to sell a home in one of the most exclusive parts of Boston but he is now happy and free.
IIRC, the original meaning of the "FRee speech" reference in the First Amendment refers to FRee political speech, not unrestrained hostile, offensive verbiage
HST, the courts over the years have ruled, increasingly, that "FRee speech" allows idiots such as this one to mouth all sorts of crap and not be held accountable for their rude, uncivil behavior and language.
There was a time when a person responded aggressively to a "fighting word" insult, he/she walked. Doesn't happen now.
ALTHOUGH, the Bikers for Trump apparently were able to impose a bit of "discipline" on some unruly and uncivil LIEberal dirtbags in WDC FRiday.
I much preferred the more polite society of my youth. Back in the day, a lot of smart mouth assholes learned the hard way and VERY quickly the limits of "FRee speech!"
