Impeachment, as we have learned over the years, is a political act, not a legal one. Two things are required before anyone starts any impeachment.
First you must first demonize him to his supporters. I can not think of anything that the left can do now that they have not already done. So they have effectively neutered themselves before Trump even took office. As long as Trump has his core support, he is not going to be impeached.
The other component of impeachment is control of congress. While there are some GOPe that would go along, I doubt they would put their political life on the line to support impeachment. They have too much to lose. Without control, there will be no impeachment.
