Yes, that is exactly the service I am describing. I have a cell phone, which doesn’t have Verizon cell service (too expensive), and I am able to speak on it with absolutely no dead spots in my home. It does use Verizon cell towers, so I think that means that this little doohickey plugged into my Panasonic cordless phone would work perfectly well. I don’t know where my nearest Verizon cell tower is, but I just did a search for Verizon cell tower coverage and it seems pretty well saturated where I live.

Try http://www.antennasearch.com/ to get a list of towers in your area.

But if your current cell phones are using Verizon's towers, I suspect the rig we're talking about ought to work real well for you. Good luck!
