NEA, National Endowment for the Arts? The same people who brought us great art such as “Piss Christ”?? Pardon my language but that obscene name is the name given by the “artist” for that piece of work...........

If we are defunding National Endowment for the Arts, its high time. Why do we need to subsidize absurd obscene sacreligious “art” in the first place? If you want to stick a crucifix in urine and call it art, do it on your own time and your own dime.

It is just a funding mechanism for “progressives”.

They are able to isolate themselves from the market with these sorts of programs. Mostly propaganda for the left.

Artists might actually have to start producing art that’s beautiful and appealing to... human beings. Maybe only the truly talented will succeed.

Seriously. It’s time for the rich people to restart the art and museum foundations and charities. If one of them truly loves an artist’s work, they can buy it. Or even become a patron.
