I'm getting calls on my cell phone from numbers that don't exist. When I try to look up the number on the net I'm seeing "someone has spoofed the caller id".
These calls started right before the election and have continued since.
I have added the number as a contact and then block that caller but they just switch to a different number. I never answer the call, I select don't accept option on my phone.
Are you getting these and do you know of a way to stop them?
That was my morning laugh!! Good thing the coffee wasn’t ready yet!
Some phones let you block single numbers - most will let you only accept calls from numbers in your “Contacts”. The do-not-call list and other such “defenses” are worthless.. If I see a number I don’t recognize and it isn’t in an area code I’m familiar with, I either reject the call or let it ring out to see if the caller left a message. No perfect solution in today’s world.
That’s funny
Thanks. Good information post 33
Pretty much useless.
