Res gestae statements, spontaneous utterance, are generally accepted in court as truthful admissions.

For minor accidents police generally avoid issuing tickets. They issue tickets based on what they can prove. . .

Good luck getting someone to admit a "spontaneous utterance" from a vehicle accident scene. LOL.

Driver A: "She said 'she didn't see me' when we collided five weeks ago."
Driver B: "I never said any such thing. He struck the rear of my car."
