The way I see it is, if there is some mass extinction event that is going to wipe out all life on the planet and there's nothing that can be done to prevent it, why not just go about business as usual until the thing happens? Keep loving those you love, keep working to support yourself and your family, keep on being the best person that you could possibly be.
