“Hidden Figures” is the last film where Hollywood fictionizes history to fit their PC agenda. It’s about three black women who worked at NASA in the late 40s. It was before the days of real computers so they needed people to crunch the numbers so the engineers didn’t have to do it. Three of the human “computers” just happened to be black women. There was also white women doing the same work. NASA hired them not for the color of their skin but because of their ability. These women were all highly educated and highly competent mathematicians. They were not plucked out of some cotton field. Anyone who knows the history of NASA is familiar with the workers there from the early days, both black and white. The lead character in the film was a female mathmatician with a PHD. Who happened to be black. So what.

I tried to watch George Lucas’ “Red Tails” about the Tuskegee Airmen and it was horrible.

Not only was the flying portrayed impossible to do they absolutely stereotyped all of the Blacks in the film like they had just left the cotton field. What an insult. Everyone of those guys were highly educated and exceptional.
Yet Lucas and his Hollywood Liberal BS showed them in the wrong light and made the film a PC POS.

I knew as I was watching ‘Hidden Figures’ that truth had been “Hollywood-ized’ but I enjoyed the story anyway. Interesting time with lots of exciting changes.
