I read the transcript earlier, as well as all the other references people posted here. I still can reconcile the conflicting stories, 4Chan or MI6-Steele and how does McCain fit in with either source? Did 4Chan send it to Wilson who sent it to Steele who sent it to McCain, or are there just that many conflicting stories/sources. Is this subterfuge designed to confuse and provide plausible deniability? Can anyone put the pieces together? Or am I just that obtuse?

We are going to have to wait until the press conference from the Pranksters. I don't have the answer. I thought 4chan is a site if you will, and Wilson was the pranking mark and he bit on the bate and where it went from their in terms of a chain is the million dollar question. However it went up the chain, the Senate ( McCain ), The Media, and Intel bought it.

In a perverse way this is a bigger prank than Don Imus or Howard Stern ever pulled off, but it isn't like Dan Akroyd or Bill Murray funny, it is an inside joke kinda thing.

But the egg on the face of McCain, the Media and Intel? Ooooohhhh Myyyyyy Too much, the all look like @ssHats or a plethora of other adjectives I won't use. They were PWND...
