Ms. Ioffe writes for various Left Wing publications. I guess to Ms. Ioffe Obama's inauguration was Year Zero so all the stuff about the French Revolution, Napoleonic Wars, 1848 Revolution, WW I, Communism, the Nazis, WWII does not count. Cue "Don't Know Much About History" song.

A little internet research shows that Julia Ioffe is of Russian Jewish background. She was born in Moscow in 1982. Her family fled the collapsing Soviet Union and she was brought to America as a child.
I'm sure that if Ms. Ioffe disagrees with her family's decision to move to this "bizarre, messy, violent, and uncivilized" country, she can arrange to return to Europe, or even to Russia. Perhaps we would then be graced with reports on the "civilized" anti-Semitism and "refugee" criminals. Please, Ms. Ioffe, if you don't like us, just go.
