For all their screeching and howling about gender stereotypes and roles, they are actually REINFORCING what they claim they are against y cramming people into stereotypical boxes and instead of letting people be who they are, telling them that if they don't fit the stereotype they so long protested against, they are not trans whatever.

I find men easier to relate to for the same reasons you do. And I ended up in a science field and have two daughters who followed suit.
And not one of us are stereotypical, emoting women who like soap operas and *girls lunches*.
If you were, that would be just fine, as long as you were trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, etc., etc. The idea that the only good women are the ones who are most like men is just another tune on the same old misogynist organ.
