Having been fully briefed on the "intelligence" proving Russians 'hacked' the election - because how else could Hillary Clinton have lost? - president-elect Trump is starting to shift the narrative this morning to expose the establishment's blinkered warmongery for missing the bigger picture that could be possible...

Of course, we can hear the spin now - "well this is exactly what a 'puppet of Putin' would say" - as a US president who seeks cooperation and not war must be a commie plant... or worse.

I think there might be something to an idea I have seen posted here that McCain and Graham are afraid of Wikileaks dropping embarrassing information not hem.
Not enough of the sons and daughters of the American working classes have been killed or gravely injured in wars over the last 15 years. Not enough of the working classes’ hard-earned money has been spent on “nation building” and other Quixotic notions.

Russia isn't far from collapse. 5 years. Maybe a bit longer. It is going to happen. When it does, we ought to be in the best position to help keep Russian resources in friendly hands. Poland or Germany would be the likely beneficiaries. I trust Poland more. Fewer muslims.
It might be worth a push or two.

It mystifies me why the pundits seem to have totally forgotten geo-politics and the balance of powers always sought by world powers. Would not Russia want a powerful America to help them counterbalance China?
Obviously, no one in their right mind WANTS war with Russia. But that doesn’t mean we should sit on our butts doing nothing while they’re in the midst of basically restoring the evil empire that was the Soviet Union, and then-some if they eventually take control of the oil/gas-rich strategic Middle East. Read my earlier posts about what Pence and Sessions say about Putin and Russia.
It is a far jump to conclude that Russian hacking of US computer systems (which we have known about for ages) is proof that the Russians somehow influenced the election (by showing us the DNC's dirty laundry that the MSM refuses to show).
As far as hacking and infiltrating computer systems goes, I think China is a far more serious threat. China is well-known to steal technology, and it is steadily sending representatives to infiltrate other countries in the name of building infrastructure, but with the real goal to take their resources without really benefiting them at all.
There are only 3 nations standing in the way of a collapse to global governance (which the elites seem to be pushing); USA, Russia, and Israel. A war between the first two would leave the leave the 3rd alone against the world...coming soon
