I remember back in the old pre-Internet days when I used to turn on the Today show in my hotel room while traveling so I could see what the NYC-Metro weather was like.

But why would anyone watch or care now?

The thing that amazes me is people still watch these shows...

Why? They just blather on and on and say basically nothing worth hearing.

Or at least that is how I remember it. I haven't watched Network news/morning shows for several years.

Megyn is moving from her own show in prime time on the #1 cable network to a #3 position on the Today show. Lauer is number 1 on Today and has sent a number of female co-hosts packing. Al Roker is #2 on the pecking order.

If Megyn doesn’t control her ego, and play her #3 role quietly, Lauer will tell the NBC/Comcast bosses to send her packing. Given her history, it is hard to see her comfortably moving from #1 to #3. She may not even last a year.
