So do I! But when I was in England I had to concentrate to understand what they were saying.
When I moved there, took me about 6 months. Lived in Sheffield so the accents were very broad with slang. Watched a lot of “Coronation Street” to try and help my ear ‘click in’. Husband had to translate for me a while. :) After 8 years, I could distinguish regional accents. All so different.
