St. Reinold is not Germany's oldest church - that would be the Cathedral of Trier - and a small fire had started on some netting on scaffolding around the church, not the roof, due to one firework.

OK, so it wasn't the OLDEST church in Germany. There were a thousand "people of middle eastern appearance" launching fireworks at the church but it wasn't the ROOF that caught on fire. It was the scaffolding surrounding the church.

That's like someone calling you a liar when you said you had a "cold" when you really had the flu.
