I don’t know the answer to my question, and maybe you do. The article said the “thieves” were collecting on a debt. Is there a chance that someone borrowed money or owed them money but because of circumstances couldn’t pay it back? Perhaps this is why they went to take the car, as payment for a debt owed. What is someone to do to get their payment if the other person refuses to pay? I’m not saying taking the car was right, but what are other options for someone in this position who needs to be repaid what they are owed?

Speaking from experience, turd-world countries/cultures have a different view or innonence vs. guilt.

I suspect the victims went to the village to collect on a loan they made to one of the villagers who used it to purchase a car. He couldn’t repay the loan so the victims attempted to repossess the vehicle until he made restitution. The villagers were just acting like the feral urban youths of our big cities and dished out their own brand of turd-world justice.

Sad, tragic and inhuman, but that’s how they do business south of the boarder (and our own inner-cities).

“They intended to aid the thief.”

That is NOT in the story on the UK Daily Mail. Perhaps you have other sources. The story says they were on their was to collect a debt in town when they were stopped, tortured and left to die in a case of mistaken identity.

Yep. Corrupt town, corrupt circumstances. THIS is why you fight to keep your country from turning into a third-world hellhole. THIS is why we fight to deport the illegal aliens that have done so in the places they have infested.

This story could have just as easily been reported from LA or San Diego or Denver.

That’s why rule of law, not rule of mob, is important.

When authorities do not lawfully perform their duties, vigilantism replaces it. Then these incidents will occur more and more.

We are headed the same way in our country. When authorities do not properly charge criminals, how long before people justice starts?
