I'm still trying to think of the proper word to describe my disgust.... No offense intended but "Gross" isn't a strong enough word....

None taken! When I was a teenager, in the early 70s, "gross" was one of those slang words we used a lot. It meant nasty, yucky, disgusting, something along those lines. When I saw that pic, that was the first thing that popped into my mind. I did forget the "eww". We used to say, "Eww, gross!" LOL
