Would prefer something stand alone. Had Hold Anything for Windows, which I loved, but the upgrade to Windows 7 made me love Windows OS less than I did before because they screwed me on Hold Anything, which now doesn’t work. No further comment.

Have you tried a compatibility mode for that program for an earlier version of Windows?
