And I suppose more folks could gave been killed in a panicked stampede. Or drowned in the Bosphorus. Italian language media outlet is reporting that perp/s killed a bouncer guarding the club door, then entered the club and began firing at club-goers. No reporting on whether there were any LEOs guarding the club and/or vicinity. I’ve seen reports of 13,000 extra personnel being deployed in Istanbul for New Year’s.. If so, were any at the club?
Foreign language reports I’ve read have mentioned one security guard/bouncer. Singular. Just the one. If true, who the heck has only one guy guarding a nightclub full of high profile people? Where the heck was local LE? And if there was no extra security, who made that call? And why? Was this attack allowed to take place?
