I’m sure it was a wonderful poem for people whose primary memories of a window don’t come from horror movies.

And the things the camera sees outside the window that the protagonist doesn’t see.

That give me the willies.

Glenn Beck was just saying, as a guest on Tucker's show, that "fame is corrosive".

I agree. A good shield against that is modesty. I have confidence in my modesty because I know me better than anyone else does.
