I know you’re not sanctioning these murders and the acquittal of OJ was a travesty of justice. In a perfect world justice would be equal for all but unfortunately we don’t live in a perfect world.
When cold blooded murderers are indicted, tried, convicted and sentenced, those murderers should pay the maximum price in my view.
I don’t disagree with anything you wrote. What about Manson, I’ve always wondered why he got life without parole and yet, he was only in the background, never had a presence at the crime scene.
Actually Manson got the death penalty then it was changed to life without parole when CA. abolished the death penalty!! The death penalty was later reinstated by CA.!!!! I believe it was on a ballot and reinstated by the voters!!!
Manson was convicted of first-degree murder for directing the deaths of the Tate/LaBianca victims. He was sentenced to death, but this was automatically commuted to life in prison after Californian's Supreme Court invalidated all death sentences prior to 1972.
Uh... let’s see... on the list of things about which to give a sh*t, this is... oh... three hundred thousand or so.
Shiiiiiit....
It is a bit strange. I can’t say I have seen another first degree murder conviction for telling someone to commit a murder in the absence of some monetary reward? I am curious if you know of another?
I don’t personally know but here’s the reason.
excerpt:
“Charles Manson was convicted on seven counts of first-degree murder for his role in the killings.”
“This is despite the fact that he never murdered anyone himself during the familys killing spree. Instead, he ordered his followers to murder for him. This is known as murder by proxy. A proxy murder is defined as a murder in which the murderer does so at the behest of another, acting as his or her proxy.”
Vincent Bugliosi prosecuted Charles Manson and wrote the book “Helter Skelter” afterward, it’s covered in the book.
Erroneous argument. Just because Hillary is not in jail (and I agree, she ought to be), doesn't mean these disgusting murderers shouldn't be.
Those murders were so grisly, their perpetrators so callous and unremorseful...
I agree with others who've posted that those evil women were LUCKY to escape the death penalty and that they should ALL die in prison.
I couldn't care less that they've been "model prisoners" or taught other inmates to read. Thank God they became useful while incarcerated! But to cite their positive prison behavior as a reason to parole them is obscene, imo.
Let them continue their "good works" behind bars, and I hope at least a few hours of each day they live is spent contemplating the lives they took and the lives they themselves might've enjoyed had they not been heinous murderers in their youth.
Compared to hundreds of Muslim serial killers and mass murderers, Manson is a pretty benign character.
I'm sure the friends and relatives of the nine people that degenerate is responsible for the slaughter of don't consider Manson to be a pretty benign character.
Because they were convicted in a court of law and Hillary (as yet) has not been so convicted.
At this point in the game would like to believe Kernwinkel and Van Houten have learned from their mistakes and are too old to repeat them.
Are the people that they killed still dead?
Then let their crazy killers rot.
