You bring up (what I think) is a very good point.
Fact is, Dad needs to ‘man up’ and take responsibility for bringing a child into the world. Currently, there’s no shame in abandoning the female and the child, and letting ‘Uncle Sugar’ do the heavy lifting.

Yes, taking the black dads off the hook of responsibility was a terrible mistake. No woman black or white can do as well alone as a man and woman raising their own kids as long as abuse is not a factor. I know black women working 4 damned jobs every day to feed and shelter her kids...no woman can do that for long. Nor can any man.
Bringing the black dad home and getting both parents involved in their kids’ education just might turn this problem around in a generation or so.
