Black Oak Arkansas. They played right below the motel I was staying at for a fishing trip. All I had to do was walk to the edge and listen. I thought it was a pretty decent group playing and then found out who it was.

I'm not into CCM that much, but many bands I like could be considered on the fringe. Anyway, I try to be discriminating with what I listen to.

I was fortunate to see some incredible shows this year, but if I have to name one, it was Desert Trip. Friday: Dylan/Stones. Saturday: Neil Young/Paul McCartney. Sunday: Roger Waters/The Who. Two two hour shows each night. Unbelievable.

Celtic Woman (tickets were a Christmas gift), and Creation Northeast - a 4 day Christian music festival with a variety of music genres - metal, rock, pop, folk, alt, rap. Performers I saw there: Switchfoot, Red, Michael W. Smith, For King & Country, Rend Collective, Newsboys, David Crowder, Jeremy Camp, Family Force 5, Stars Go Dim, Strengthen What Remains, Sleeping Giant, Seventh Day Slumber, Veridia, Jordan Feliz, Hollyn, Ilia, Harbor & Home, Good Little Giants, Bread of Stone, Ashes Remain, Phineas, and Tedashii

He's looking old and skinny.
But not quite as old and skinny as Dylan.
Both were worth the price of admission though. As long as you LOVE Dylan. If not, you might want to wait for the video ...

Damn glad I got to see ELP twice in my lifetime.I only went once back in the early 80s. But I did get to see Keith Emerson destroy a Hammond B3. Helluva show.
