Not the US, necessarily, although our remote controlled ‘blow out’ would amuse him immensely. I think Obama may try to facilitate Israel’s demise or at least it’s severe and permanent alteration via coordinated attacks. The US will do nothing directly but provide certain information the worst enemies of Israel would not normally have access to.
Israel is strong, brave and canny, but there are certain calamities (biologic, geologic, economic) that no nation can fully recover from while retaining their souvernity.
