This is nothing but speculation, but I think either Obama or Erodogan the Turkish President had something to do with this incident. Even though I detest Obama as a political figure, he is still our president for now, and it does not feel good having to say this is my belief. The Russians have already ruled out terrorism as a cause. The crash took place in the Black Sea shortly after takeoff, so any MANPAD would have to have been fired from Russian territory, or from a boat in Russian waters.
