The pro-Trump Twitterverse is lobbing hundreds of angry posts and meme attacks at the Brooklyn husbands who were kicked off a plane at JFK after one yelled at future First Daughter Ivanka.
The Cobble Hill couple, attorney Daniel Goldstein and Hunter College Urban Studies Professor Matthew Lasner, are being trolled as “jerks,” “misogynists,” “political terrorists,” “heterophobic bigots,” and all manner of offensive gay slurs.
A flood of one-star pans also is filling the Amazon review page for Lasner’s new book, “High Life: Condo Living in the Suburban Century.”
Meanwhile, a Trump confidante said Ivanka will probably keep flying commercial because she’s done so “for years.”

Flying commercial is torture. The TSA is determined to make it worse every year.

That's beside the point. Ivanka flew commercial for reasons that had nothing to do with the TSA, and she will not fly charter because of TSA either - nor will she be intimidated into flying charter due to the childish behavior of an emotionally disturbed individual.
And she was flying coach!
There is a drop down box for reviews from “verified purchases.” Make sure you change that to “all reviews.”

When I heard about this I assumed that she was flying business class, but no, she actually flies coach. I couldn’t believe it until I saw a photo.

You use whatever tools you can to strike where the enemy is weak. That’s basic Sun-Tzu. These butt pirates chose to make themselves an enemy over differences in politics, so they deserve personal destruction in every part of their lives.

I doubt that any of the Trumps are willing to be viewed as victims. The incident wasn’t life threatening.
The hatred and the attacks on Trump and his family reveal the depths of decadence into which American society has descended. Just as the mendacious hate truth and those who speak it, the decadent hate ascendancy and the ascendant, and for the same reasons.
It is a miracle that at least half of the American people are still ascendant and reject the decadence. Perhaps if we pull together, we can deliver America from its downward death-spiral and restore her to ascendancy. That is Trump's promise and the meaning of the Trump Revolution.

The next one could be life-threatening. Is Trump a victim because he takes appropriate security precautions? Is he a victim because he doesn’t expose Barron to vicious attacks by the left?
Ivanka is not just another person. She’s probably one of the ten most recognizable people in the U.S. now. And she, and especially her young family, would be a real plum for the right kind of attacker to score. It’s more than just a matter of mean words.

Not out of reach but unnecessary. I could easily afford expensive bottles of French wine for Christmas dinner tomorrow but the bottles of California Cabernet will do just fine. Why spend more than you have to?
JetBlue is a nice way to fly, they run a good airline. You can get coach seats with extra legroom that compare to first class. I once sat near Ted Kennedy on a commercial flight from D.C. to Boston. I loathe the guy but would never think of hassling him.
I think it is more like the reason for flying commercial is the Carbon Footprint of it all. It isn't one of my favorite causes, but it is one of her's, and she wasn't willing to be shown to be a hypocrite.
Now, flying coach shows how she spends her money!
Let's give the Secret Service some amount of credit for competence. Lots and Lots and Lots of our Congressman fly commercial all the time without incident. I don't think Ivanka needs to cede her ground on this. Her kids are being taught by example, I think that is something to be stubborn on.
Airports and airplanes are quite safe.
She’s doing exactly the right thing by taking publicly available planes.
About time they get a taste of their own medicine
