Yeah, the death threats are totally unacceptable (if they actually occurred and aren't hoaxes). But no child at the age of four is capable of even understanding the concept of gender, let alone declaring that he or she wants to be the other gender. This is parental malpractice and child abuse - the only thing notable about this child abuse is that liberals are cheering it on.

First of all, you mean "the other sex". People don't have gender.

Second of all, it's not uncommon for three-year olds and even fours to wish that. They notice the difference for the first time, and perhaps see boys (or girls) getting something they are not, or being treated (they think) better. (I have five girls and two boys).

What IS uncommon is for a parent to say, "OK, let's cut off your penis then". The childish wish isn't abnormal. ACTING on it on the part of the responsible adults? THAT is crazy.
