The video starts out with a night view of the World Trade Center. Now I'm pissed off. I never noticed that in the video before.

The first 30 seconds has some nice time capsule film of late 1970s NYC.

Ground-breaking and valid case can be made that it was the song that bridged the 1970s to the 1980s. "My Sharona" by the Knack was probably the last monster song of the 1970s but unlike "Heart of Glass" it stayed in the 70s.

"Heart of Glass" would still go to number 1 even if it was released today.
