The Tower of David,
Interesting spot,
West end of the Old City Jerusalem.
Yeah, Roman coins have taken quite a beating over the years and being given a view of any political message that may have been put on the coin could be a great insight into history.
Yeah, kind of a punch to the gut.
Timely discovery with Hanukkah in a few days.
This is the story that needs to be told because it is about the big unending struggle for freedom of religion.
***King Antiochus IV Epiphanes, who decreed that the Jews must be annihilated***
2500 years there has been a war on the Bible. No army has succeeded, from Antiochus the Mad, Caesars and the Roman Legions, the Moslem Hordes...
Today it still here and drives the unbelievers mad.
What is in that book of “myths and fables” that terrifies them so. Read it and see!
Roundness in the hole baby!
Chanuka is this week
Cool!
My Mom was a teacher when we were kids. One of the other teachers had a cousin who played for the Mets.
She got my mom a set of Mets 8x10’s. Almost all of them autographed. Personalized.
When my brother moved out of the house, she tossed them after a couple of years.
And what year was this almost complete set of autographed Mets pictures? 1969.
Moms back in the day were nice and they loved us. But sometimes they simply had no clue about what is “important.”
How small can a house be ?
How many cubic feet of space would be needed for what has been described?
2 ‘bankers boxes’ worth???
I would be plenty mad.
Cheers.
Anyhow, in Israel they know the value of this find and it should be there for mankind to enjoy going forward.
